How do i deal with moment about D at Q5a?

Isn't that a weird position? I couldn't understand even I had a look on mark scheme. I get F x (2a) but not mgsin(theta)a

Many thanks.

You need the moment of weight=moment of reaction.
draw them on the diagram extend the line of weight and find perp distance to D.

Here's my diagram:

Forces in red.
Lines of action of forces in green.
Perpendicular distance of lines of action in blue.

Edit: For some reason I can't get rid of one of the images.
