Do you think they'll accept both distillation and heterogeneous cracking with a zeolite for the seperation of octane and isooctane?

pfff if it was so easy then what did you get for the anti-bumping granule question-
a question which is not part of the new chemistry spec

Gas bubbles settle around the granules preventing excessive pressure in the tube and stopping it exploding out of the top

wouldnt cracking jusrt make both of thenm into smalller molecules instead of seperating then
