Ahh why did i get 33 instead of 330???

I did this but then corrected myself, the new equation was to the power of 100, so you have to do 100throot , but you must of done the 10th root , as when i did that it gave me 33 days, but i realized that that was shorter than the time is had gone from 10 to 8 something in the question

Almost right but the x^2 should have another factor of 2 in its coefficient
So you get 6/4+9x^2

I got |x| < 4/3 I originally had |x|<1/2 but crossed it out because I figured that since <1/2 would fall in to the range of 4/3. guess it's only as valid as the lowest of the two

Yeah sounds right. Just made me realise I put |x|<1/4 cause I was looking at (3-4x) and not (1-4/3x), there goes a mark lol

Edit: think the right answer would be |x|<3/4, as the |x| in |x|<1 is replaced by |4/3x|, so |4/3x|<1, so |x|<3/4

Mod X < 0.5?

I think i put (mod x < 1/4) as there were 2 expansions, the limit of one was (mod x < 1/2) and the other (mod x < 1/4) so i went for the smallest one so both expansions fit in the limit. Correct me if i'm wrong (which i probably am haha!) :biggrin:
