Thank you very much for your reply, it's very helpful to know I wanted to ask a couple of questions about the program actually. How many courses a semester is there usually and, at the end of the program, do you write a dissertation or do a final project or both?

You have to take three 15 credit modules over the year. You choose which ones they are and whether you take them in the first or second term. The assessment is either a normal essay of around 3000 words or a film treatment or can be a filming exercise, really depends on what modules you can. There's a lot of choices.

You'll have your year long course work to do which is dependent on what specialism you are doing and there are masterclasses you can attend, plus trips to production houses, studios, SFX houses etc.

You make 3 films, each bigger than the last. Plus other smaller filming exercises in between. The last film you make is your graduation film and is the biggest one you'll make. You'll have a reflective text at the end, which is about 3000 words.

On top of all of that you can audit classes that you are not officially taking. Meaning you can attend the class and just listen.
