Hating Physics and want to drop it, but in upper sixth... Any advice?

I have been taking physics for the last year 1/2 and I'm currently in upper sixth and have my final exams in June. I am getting E's at the moment (I'm hoping to get a C). I am trying hard at the subject, but my teacher is useless. He will give you notes then expect you to do a load of questions in which I have no idea what is happening. I feel afraid to ask my teacher (who doesn't actually want to be a teacher to make things better...) because he would just mock me in front of the class and make me feel ashamed and stupid. I don't know what to do. I feel like I want to drop it, but it's a bit late for that. I am also not the only one in my class who feels this way. Do you have any advice?

If your teacher is mocking you in front of the class or even in private, then that is plain bullying and is completely unacceptable.

If you can remember specific incidents, then perhaps speak to your head of year, because nobody should be deliberately humiliated like that.

As for learning, there are plenty of resources on the internet explaining things in a clear manner. Teachers are not the only way of learning.
