I'm studying Macbeth, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and Animal Farm but the specification only says you will be tested on Shakespeare and a 19th C text. Where does the 3rd (20th C) come into the exam?
Animal farm is you're modern text / prose , which will be tested on paper 2 along side poetry. Jekyll and Hyde is your 19th C romantic piece and MacBeth is your shakespearean piece, both tested on paper 1.

First paper is 'Shakespeare and the 19th-century novel' which is Macbeth and Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Second paper is 'Modern texts and poetry' - this is Animal Farm, your poetry cluster and unseen poetry.
