Could someone please help me with this question

“In order for a baby to grow, it’s cell must enlarge and divide by mitosis.”

Why is cell enlargement important in the growth of a baby? - 1 mark question

This is my summer homework and even though I researched I still could not come to a final answer if anyone could any help would be appreciated.
well given that they've mentioned mitosis, I think they want the importance of mitosis in terms with have same genetic material replicated each time for the growth. That question sounds very vague to me...
Come on.
In order for a multicellular organism to grow ,such as a baby,it needs to increase its mass.
To increase your mass, you need more cells.
What process increases the number of cells ?
Mitosis !
