Chemistry esters help please

Could someone explain this

In my spec, you react it with 3 molecules of methanol to produce 3 separate esters and 1 molecule of glycerol but I’m not sure if that’s what AQA teaches

Was the formatting different on the Q to what you posted?

The two vertical lines should be lined up to the CH2, the CH and the CH2.

Do you know about hydrolysing esters? As in what is formed?

That is what happens, so you'd hope that is what AQA teach.

Just didn’t want to pass on incorrect info as I know that different exam boards have different emphasis on things! Mines ccea and they sometimes kinda do their own thing so I didn’t want to give you the wrong answer!
