# Edexcel A2 C4 Mathematics June 2015 - Official Thread watch

It should work, and in your example it does. (It took ages to find A, as it was the last one I was able to find using your method to give me A=3, and then comparing that with the method they would do also gives the first number being 3, so I guess the rest of it works fine as well.
ah thank you! thanks for taking the time out to solve it, I didn't think anyone would

Ah, fair enough.. I don't think GCSE is that hard compared to A-levels, but then again I didn't take history GCSE so I can't really comment on it's difficulty XD
Not sure about the majority of people... doesn't seem to be the case here, especially on the C3 TSR thread XD

just gonna pray to edexcel Gods to lower the boundaries enough for me to get an A in...
Not at all it seems, the papers for GCSE are so predictable.

Oh **** ahah, that was me hoping people found it hard then - just need the 100ums to be one or two off 75 because I'm pretty sure I would have made some silly error at some point.

let's see

3. Do we need to memorize these formulas or are they given in the formula booklet?
thanks
4. (Original post by TeeEm)
good luck
(hope there is no Hitler video for STEP)
I will make one. Even if it goes well. I will moan about some pure questions!

12. anybody able to help me with the jan 2014 C4 IAL paper question 8 e?
13. Any predictions for tomorrow? The previous two years had difficult questions (question 7) on vectors so I don't think that will be a question 7 again. Maybe a hard problem about differential equations? What do you guys think

15. Any good links where I can quickly go over and learn everything I need to know about vectors including:
- How to prove intersection
- When it is parallel/perpendicular
- Reflection in the line
- Everything else

Really hope vectors isn't a large feature of tomorrow's paper. I am struggling with dat shiz!
16. I hope it isn't differentials cos they can really bend you over and .. Sometimes, I hope it's something like Newtons law of cooling

^Second this
19. Could be like c3 in the fact that the normally easy questions are harder (relatively) like partial fractions and binomial. Harder questions could be more straightforward.
20. Are there any rules for presenting vectors? My teacher told me I have to write it as i+j+k form but can I just write is as column vector?
