Probably my three favourite bands :awesome:

"...closing the god damn door" x 1 billion :teehee: I don't know why I always seem to think that phrase is used a lot in that song. :holmes:

 I was once, but I decided that I listen to far many embarrassing songs for other people to laugh at :colondollar:

6669 files, 106 GB.

Currently 31% FLAC, 67% MP3 (with 2% in other formats). Would like someday to have it all in FLAC, but it's bloody hard to get a hold of.

Just for the challenge, name a song/album that you can't find in FLAC. Can't be something totally obscure or ancient.
With all the resources I have, I wanna see if I can find it

Hmm, a lot of my music comes under the "Obscure" heading. :p: I'll give you a choice:

Easy: Apocalyptica - Worlds Collide. I did have a FLAC version, but it was a bad encode and so I had to torrent a MP3 album instead
Medium: Sonata Arctica - The Days of Grays, or perhaps For the Sake of Revenge. :headbang:
Hard: [:SITD:] - Rot. I've not even found an MP3 version of this yet. :p:
Night guys. :wavey:

Just reading through an old project report, there are so many grammatical mistakes in there :s-smilie:. Not in my sections but still.. it's not good :frown:

Apocalyptica - Worlds Collide. Wow, you weren't kidding when you said it was easy.

Sonata Artica - The Days of Grays. Took a little while, but I was looking in the wrong places. Seeing as you classify them all as obscure, I figured I'd look in the obscure places first. Didn't find it there but found it in one of my more popular sources.

Sonata Artica - For the Sake of Revenge. It fell within seconds of the "The Days of Grays" album.

[:SITD:] - Rot. Jeez, most places I know haven't even heard of it. I managed to confirm the existence of MP3 rips of it, but most of them have been DMCA'd. :/

On a music releated note, I take it nobody needs a Spotify invite? They keep giving them to me and the notification is annoying me!

i'd love one if you have one going spare?

Hmm, not bad. :p: How about Pain - Pain?

Holy crap, man. I might be good, but I'm not a miracle worker!! I'd be shocked if you can find anywhere to get that at retail, let alone a download.

Oh I can get it retail easily enough. I know a few decent places for stuff like that.

Also, I think I did orignally get that album as a download, albeit in MP3 form. Ner ner.

How long ago was that?
The hardest part is the name. When I did just a generic search in the full database, I had more porn results than music. If it had a better name, it might be easier to find.

The trick is to add discography to the search -- the other artists with Pain in their name are mostly rappers, so you can get to what you want by searching for the thing hip-hop doesn't do.

Seriously watch this, it's hilarious
