86% in C4 for that A*!!!!!!!!!!! haha, have you decided what you are doing next school year? Imperial or gap yah? :smile:

Good luck! :h:

Nope, for now I'll wait for my STEP results. I've made a good start to my FM A-Level and Physics A2 so we'll wait and see how things pan out. Until then, I will firm Imperial and put Warwick as my insurance.
I think I'm being really stupid, but I can't work out how to do question 3, any pointers? thanks :smile:
Mr M, thank you very much for the answers, but you wouldn't happen to have the questions for this paper would you? If so, could you please send me a link?

MR M (or anyone else for that matter) - I can't see how to get a=9 for part 5??? I got a=67/27 - am i rearranging the equation wrong? i to prepare for integration i rearranged it to 6(3x-2)^-0.5 dx =16 etc HELP!!!:wink:
You get 6(3x-2)^-0.5 dx = 16, so integrate that to get 4(3x-2)^0.5 = 16.
Therefore (3x-2)^0.5 = 4
Put a in, then put 1 in and subtract.
So (3a-2)^0.5 - 1 = 4
So (3a-2)^0.5 = 5
Square both sides, 3a-2 = 25
So 3a = 27
a = 9
