hey help needed

hey does anyone know the hazards for Potassium (vi) dichromate (internet is giving crap) also i need hazards for sodium carbonate and hydrogen carbonate.

I also need help on two overall equations:

1)overall equation for a tertiary alcohol (2-methylpropan-2-ol) reacting wit sodium.

2) overall equation for carboxylic acid(any) reacting with sodium carbonate.

any help would be gratefull

DUSTS OR VAPORS OF SODIUM CARBONATE MAY CAUSE IRRITATION OF MUCOUS MEMBRANES WITH SUBSEQUENT COUGHING AND SHORTNESS OF BREATH.

Basically Irritant

Potassium dichromate - DANGEROUS FIRE RISK IN CONTACT WITH ORG MATERIALS.

Hydrogen Carbonate????

--------------

What are the conditions for the tertiary alchahol reaction?

on my question paper it say 2-methylpropan-2-ol reacts with Sodium, and i need the mechainm of the reaction. so if someone knows the overall equation i can write out the mechainm. It doesn't specify any conditions.

The Na replaces the hydrogen on the alchohol group, its that simple
