OCR MEI: Answer correct, but got it a different way...

Okay so on mark schemes, specifically for OCR MEI A2 Maths, there are various marks awarded for stages of working (S1, B1, M1). I was wondering if you can still get marks if you did your working a different way to the mark scheme, but got the same answer. I know in some exams you get all the marks if you show some working out and get the answer correct no matter how you get it. Is this the case for OCR MEI?

The question that led me to ask this is here: http://www.ocr.org.uk/download/ms_09/ocr_35105_ms_09_l_gce_jan.pdf
Page 14, Question 5 ii. I put -lambda instead of +, and worked everything out and arrived at the same answer. Would I still get the marks for this?

Thanks in advanced, and good luck to anyone else sitting C4 tomorrow
As long as your method is correct and you didn't arrive at the answer by accident, you will receive full marks.
