I just wanted to find out, is the 'Coca-Cola', 'Fanta', 'Sprite' and other drinks from the drinks machine real Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite etc? At a lot of the Subways stores I go to, they don't taste like the real thing. Most of the time it tastes like a watered down version of the drink, lacking in flavour (though they're nice and cold :biggrin:

). Are the managers skimpy and advising their colleagues to put a bit of Coca-Cola in the machine and mix the rest with water to save money? Please be honest :biggrin:

Yes its real.
The machine works by mixing syrup with soda water. (Sort of like squash and water).
The syrup is proper Coke, Fanta and Sprite.
What you're describing sounds like the managers have changed the levels in their machine so that the ratio of soda water to syrup is heavy on the soda water side, saving them money.

So you were almost right, it's just soda water rather than water :smile:
