GCSE Edexcel Biology Study Hep

I'm currently studying from the Edexcel Biology book, but i can't concentrate on anything thats been written! It's like i'm reading the words but i'm not actually realising what they mean. I'm fine with the Edexcel Chemistry book though. I love Biology and want to get an A at GCSE but i won't even get a pass at this rate:/

What do you do when you're in this situation? Thanks.
Hi!
I'm studying AQA biology, and I know what you mean, I struggled so much with genes, chromosomes and alleles for a while until they were broken down for me. Here's a few hints.
1. Look on the Internet or in text books for labelled diagrams. Biology can be quite visual!
2. Highlight all the key words for each section of your work. Then, make a list.
3. Is there a specific your struggling on? Make a note on that and ask your teacher.
4. Again, back to diagrams, why not draw them yourself? You're more likely to remember things you've drawn yourself, with labels.
Good luck! These might not work for you but keep experimenting.
