Not living in halls - Magee.

So I've chosen Psychology as my firm at Magee, and I'm wondering if anyone else is planning to move straight into private accommodation and not into halls? Everyone's been saying to me that it's more difficult to make friends and to get involved in University life of you don't move into halls, but I've always been an introvert and don't fancy the idea of living with a massive group of people :tongue:

Anyone else feel the same?

I'm firming Computer Science in Magee and I'm moving into Private rental. I'm the same as you, I don't like the thought of sharing areas with people (kind of a clean freak). I'm glad there is someone at least moving down to Magee too. I know a few people who live down there already and Derry isn't really that big so I can't see you missing out on much. Most private rentals (as long as you stay in Cityside) are only 5-10 minute walk away from the Student Accommodation anyway. Hope this helped :smile:

Also its usually only first years on halls anyway.
