I don't have time to write it out but:

7a) Rearrange it to y/3 = 4^x. You can see that Y has been replaced with (1/3)Y. This might help.

b) Use your answer to part 1, it's a stretch.

c) Simultaneous equations. 3*4^x = 4^-x. Rearrange it to make 3 the subject. 3 = 4^x/4^-x. This gives you 3 = 4^2x. log3 = 2xlog4. This should help.


3a) well we know that a=(abSinC)/2. 12.5 = (5*6*SinC)/2. From this you know that 25 = 30SinC, and I guess you can work it from there.

b) c^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2*a*b*CosC.

4. LogaN/x = 3/2. in exponential form this = a^3/2 = n/x. I guess you could rearrange that to find X.

I'm not too sure on question 4 but I have MPC1/2 today so I hope it's bloody right..
