If you want to do forensic science then it might be a good idea to choose triple science

GCSE's are not really that important, but for forensics, I suggest you should pick triple science. The rest, just pick what you enjoy, and when you reach A levels, that's when you need to pick subjects fully relevant to your future career.

I think you should do separate science (if you want to do forensics) but it is hard! If you are good at science though I would definitely do it. I think out of the other ones you want to do I would take philosophy and ethics, history (they are both very interesting subjects) and then just choose one more as more of a fun one I think. We have to take philosophy and ethics (well RS) at our school as I go to a Catholic school but I really enjoy it and want to do it for A level so I hope this helps a bit :-)

Hey, yea I have the same problem I want to do Law as a degree and for A levels I chose;
Maths Statistics
English Literature
Economics
Psychology

Do you think that is fine to do for A level to get into Law?

Yeah they sound fine as long as you don't do a law a level weirdly enough - history is also a favoured subject for law

Okay thanks for the replys everyone! :smile:
Appreciated! x:elefant:
I'd definitely pick triple science. Other than that, it doesn't really matter. However, I'd really strongly recommend doing Geography and History because they really build you up as a person and raise awareness of real issues that all good citizens should really be aware of. Languages are also incredibly useful in later life, too.

You should be fine. They normally look for a logic based a level and an essay based A Level - and it looks like you're set on the right track with the options you've chosen :smile:

I've gone for Maths, Further Maths, History, Economics and Biology for Law :tongue:
