What is the meaning of Life?

To state simply though I know people will use religion or philosophy.
To define it as if as a regular dictionary term:
Life is a duration of time in which a specimen seeks survival.
It becomes complicated when survival becomes based on statuses such as, social and financial. That's when people ruin their life, try to ruin someone else's, or simply take their own or someone else's, but hopefully they understand they have a purpose in life and fulfill it without rage, indifference, hatred, envy, greed, selfishness, vengeance or lust. Many religions may call these Sins but everyone knows these traits are toxic, religious or not.
