England should have put 30+ on them easy.

I think they would have, but I've noticed that some players seem to have an inability to pass. Even when there are players outside them who could have quite easily gone on to score, they insist on carrying on, getting tackled, and losing the overlaps that they had worked so hard to create.
I think the pressure is now all on England, France are no easy task when they decide to turn up and play.

Ireland and Wales should both win their games next week.

Delighted to see Fitzgerald in the team but sorry it's at 11 and not 13. Looks like we'll be going to the RWC with Payne at 13. Decent player but the guy wasn't even a centre for most of his Ulster career. The natural heir to BOD's throne is wearing 12 right now...
Reminder of the points differences:

England +37
Ireland +33
Wales +12
France +22 (2 table points behind)

I'll try and update every half.

Not the start I was hoping for as a Wales fan!

This will do Italy!

England favourites today but as an Irish fan I saw Wales as a real threat today.
That, Venditti, could be crucial in this match.

This game. Gutted that I have to go work. We'll have it on but it will be too busy to watch anything.

Did Italy not read the script?!

Hopefully the second half will be the opposite story and Wales can actually turn up.

Come on Italy, defend! You can't just concede 2 tries in 2 minutes!

And whilst you're defending, you can try to be disciplined as well!

What the ****?

Unfortunately this has now given us two dead rubbers now to finish the day.

As it stands:

Wales +53
England +37 (2 table points behind)
Ireland +33 (2 table points behind)
France +22 (4 table points behind)

Is 21 points insurmountable for Ireland? It probably is.

Well that was an interesting second half! If it wasn't for the handling errors Wales could have got to 75-80 points I think.

Thanks Italy for killing the rest of the day's rugby! 21 points by Ireland or 17 by England... They'll be lucky to get anywhere near those margins. After this disaster I support a return to 5 Nations rugby. How long have Italy been in? They still average 1 win per tournament and given the closeness of the rest of the teams the tournament is won on who runs up the biggest score on them.
