Astronomy GCSE

I was wondering about how astronomy GCSE would be for someone who was not very good at maths?
I am very interested in alot of the topics you cover however my maths is not that strong and I was wondering if you think it would still be manageable as I know there is maths involved.
I would be taking this as an 'extra' GCSE along side my others.
Thanks

I wish our school let us take Astronomy! I would think you'd be fine even if you are not good at Maths. I'm awful at Maths, but Science is one of my strongest subjects, so I don't suppose it really matters. You'll be allowed to use a calculator, since it's not meant to be a test of your mental arithmetic. As long as you think you'll enjoy it, go for it!
