Oxford / Cambridge Law Senior Status/Affiliated student

Hi all,

I'm considering applying for the accelerated 2 year law degree at either Oxford or Cambridge for 2016 entry.

I expect to graduate next year with a First in Finance from Queen's University Belfast. I have AAB at A-Level and have completed work experience with 2 barristers and 2 solicitors, and have spent a year working at a top Investment Bank.

What are my chances for entry? I realise AAB is quite low at Alevel for Oxbridge, so I was considering doing another Alevel this year and achieve A/A* to bring it up.

How much weighting is put on your a-level results if you already have a degree?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Doing another a-level after doing a degree seems like a waste of time (and money) , If you get a first from Queens then that will put you in good standing especially if you also do well in the LNAT.
Have you thought about how your going to fund this given that government funding is limited for students wishing to do a second degree.
