You 100% will don't worry im thinking around 58 for an A as student room is going to have people that want to do really well you can't judge it by this community getting 65+

However you need to obviously do the same with c2 and s1!

Thanks for the reassurance. I'm hoping S1 and C2 go better so I can get an A overall.

q1) a=(pie)r^2(x+y) when r>0 find r
the binomial: (3x-2)^4

q12: y=2x+k, 3x^2+12x+13
ii) complete the square and explain why the curve doesn't go below the x axis
iii) What is k when the line touches the minimum point of the curve.
9b) x^2 is an integer - x is an integer
3(b) (25/9)^-1/2
3(a) 10^0 or something

11i: 2 marks
11ii)
11iii) 6 marker
12i) 5 marks
12ii) 5 marks
12iii) 2 marks.
binomial - 4 marks.
9a - 2 mark
9b- 2 mark
3(a) - 1 mark

For question 12, part iii. Is k=5 , 100% correct. I got that bit but I didn't get part i (I used the discriminant but I forgot that the minus k attached onto the 3....)
Drop mark in 7part b 9 part b 2 marks lost in question 10 and about 4 lost in question 11 i got 12 right when i didnt think i would bit i turned it into a mixed fraction cuz why not so i hope i sraped an a
for radius, i just put the radius it said in square root form. i didn't simplify it. I just put, squareroot125.
please tell me i wouldn't lose a mark for that trivial mistake.
oh and could you please add the marks allocated for each question.

wondering how many marks I'll have lost on question 10) c for not changing (x+1)(x+1)(x-6) to (x+1)^2(x-6)?
thanks for posting this also
I NEED THE MARKSCHEME SO I CAN CHECK, CELEBRATE AND MOVE ON. COME ON!

i did the same thing :frown:

could be wrong but I've seen in previous past paper mark schemes that they accept it unsimplified  (I did the same thing so fingers crossed!)

Wait what.. they penalise if you don't simplify? I put (x+1)(x+1)(x+6) and for the circles question the radius as root 125........
