computer networks course

Is computer networks easy to study. Do you need mathematics or a background
in computers?
Only you can decide if it is easy or not. Some people understand it, others don't. I'd suggest doing a little research into it before hand and finding out if that's something you would want to learn. Predominately university courses will cover the CCNA syllabus, but that depends on the university/course. Maths is something you will need yes, but not to in-depth for a more networking related course.. the more you know the better of course.

What courses/universities were you looking at?

It does say on the entry requirements on that particular course that you should have experience in a numerate course, or an IT/science/engineering course. Perhaps call the university and you could discuss it with someone there if you're not sure if they would accept you?
