what good will giving a vote to an uneducated farmer from some western province be when he has no political knowledge what so ever. and there are alot of them in china. it would only create chaos.

haha i love Paradox games: Hearts of Iron, Victoria, Europa Universalis etc...

but on Victoria, Tibet etc.. are independant, but i usually swallow them up as the British empire while coming from the south from india :smile:

hey, i'm obbsessed with Civ also - and the exp. packs Play the World + Conquests

it's an amazing game, various historical events happen and you can choose whether to follow them in the way with which they happenned in real life, or there is a fictional option e.g

during the American Civil war, the Trent affair, if you were playing as Britain you could choose to intervene on the side of the Confederates, which is very interesting,

or you could play as Spain and recapture the whole south American continent e.g war with Brazil, uruguay, chile etc... lol

but yeh - you could play as Tibet and declare independance from China and take them over...but that's only if your an amazing player lol

its like civ - but the system is much more advanced - a very complex economic system, free-trade/protectionism etc...and you can choose the freedoms allowed in your country etc.... whether to allow full sufferage or only voting according to wealth, and you can ban certain parties, but could cause a civil war lol

and there are different systems eg. you can be completley totaliterian as Japan for example, but then the people revolt and you have a revolution and become a republic/ communist state etc..

haha no - bittorrent is difficult to use yes,

go to http://www.overnet.com/ to get it - it's very simple to use, there is one big server so it just connects to that quickly then look for victoria - an empire under the sun
