Well it seems like a uniform disaster for everyone. Low grade boundaries I'm thinking - but FP2 "low" boundaries are like 68/75 for an a*

No not if I used Euler's relation
e^ix = cosx + isinx
e^-ix = cosx - isinx
(e^ix - e^-ix)/2 = 2isinx/2
then idk if you can do this but i took the i out of all of it to get (e^x - e^-x)/2 = sinx

IBP and then you get the e^2xsinx again and have to add it to both sides and divide - very mean!

Question 4 Integral Solution

Question 4b

let In=e^2x*sinx

By parts twice gives

In= 0.5e^2x*sinx - 0.25e^2x*cosx - Integral of 0.25e^2x*sin x
Integral of 0.25e^2x*sin x = 0.25 InHence, 5/4 In = 0.5e^2x*sinx - 0.25e^2x*cosxTherefore In = 1/5e^2x * (2sinx - cosx)
**** Edexcel bastards!! FP2 is usually guaranteed 75, that was atrocious!
The tell arsey he can't do mark schemes and now they violate is in FP2.

Integration by parts twice to get the integral of e^(2x)sin(x) on both sides, then you can rearrange to find the integral of e^(2x)sin(x)
did anyone manage question 5? I couldn't get 53/480 for my final answer........

anyone confident about what x tends towards as t tends to infinity? I guessed infinity, anyone know???
this is question 4a or 4b I think.
Grade boundaries should be kind if it was very tricky. Like last year's FP3 was absurdly low.
I can spare/want to spare myself an hour of analysis revision so if anyone linked the paper I could probs do solutions. Doubt they will/can though but just putting it out there

I got r/q or something, because as t tends to infinity e^pt/q tends to zero.
