Unsuccessful?!!?!

I think this is wrong.

DDD=AAA
MMM=BBB
CCC=CCC

This is what I was told.

DDD = AAA

But

M = C and P = E

Trust me thats 100% correct, id put my life on it

A merit is only equal to a B in Level 2 BTECs for level 3 merits are equal to a C grade and a pass is an E grade

You cant get BTEC grades directly equivalent to B and D grades

Look at it like this:
C at A level = 80 ucas points
MMM in BTEC = 240 UCAS points
CCC=3 x 80 = 240

If a merit grade = B then you would be able to get exactly 300 UCAS points from a BTEC Extended Dip which is impossible as no BTEC grade profile is worth exatly 300 points

If it was a teacher who told you this then you should probably correct them
