Now, there is a typo, but even with that typo my working was the same up until the red line except with different limits. After the red line I don't understand whats being done with the separate integrands.
Pretty sure the 6n should be 3n/4; does that help?

Oh yes, so it's a distribution of (x11) (x^{-1}-1)

you mean a distribution of (1-x)? If so, yep.

Oh, I divided 1-x by x, so x^(n-1) became x^n and then distributed, I've realised it's unnecessary now, but still the same thing.
