Assistant project manager jobs

Poll

Is an assistant project manager role suitable for someone described in the post?

Generally in the civil engineering/construction/ infrastructure/transport industries, is an assistant project manager role suitable for someone who has a year of industrial placement experience in civil engineering and project management plus 18 months post graduate experience in civil engineering and project management? Or should such a candidate still be going for project coordinator/support roles?

I also did the same job as an assistant project manager in the team during the 18 month post.
No, Go for graduate role, you will get site experience then you can move onto management. it is easier transition.

I mean in client organisations, as opposed to contractors or consultancies.
