What does 'good' mean? How can you expect anyone to give you an answer when 'good' is a subjective term.
Choosing a university is a personal choice - You might have different requirements to me. E.g. you might enjoy clubbing and want to choose a university with a big clubbing scene. I don't.
Brunel is a good university - Their engineering department is well-known and has good industrial links.
I suggest doing the following: - Go to an open day, speak to the lecturers, speak to the students, get a "feel" of the university,
- Use UNISTATS, Which? Universty and WhatUni to get a statistical view of the university, graduate outcomes after 6 months, average salary after 6 months, number of people getting a 1st or a 2:1 and the overall makeup of a degree in terms of coursework/practical exams/written exams,
- See what research is going on at the university (in your chosen subject) - See what modules are on offer .
