maths gcse 9-1 spec question

do we need to get 20 on 1 paper and 20 on 2nd paper and 25 on 3rd paper to get grade 5
The grade boundaries vary every year. It really depends on the performance in the exams of a student. This year, you needed 68 (combined in all three papers) for a 5 in higher math (edexcel). The combination on how you achieve these marks is pretty much useless. As long as you get 68, you would get a 5. Whether that is 68 in 1 paper and 0 in the rest 2 or 68 divided over the three papers.
thanks for the information
