What A level subjects should I do for this kind of job

So basically I'm in year 11, halfway through my gcse's, and I'm a bit stuck! Help! Yeah...I'm at that point in my life where I get asked what I want to be when I'm older a lot. So there's this certain job/career I have in my mind that I think would really suit me, and my sister also says I would be good at this sort of job. Here is a brief description of the job I have in mind (I don't know what you would call it!)- So it's where basically you'd be raising awareness sort of thing. Like awareness for Racism, Sexuality/LGBT community, Violence against women etc. Like you know on PSE days in school where someone would come in, like a spokesperson, a police officer, or a social worker, and they'd talk about specific things they're raising awareness for? I want a job like that. A job where I can teach younger people about the negatives of today's society. One big sort of company (don't know what you would call it sorry!) is 'Show Racism The Red Card'. Do you know what I'm on about? If so, could you please suggest the name of that sort of job or something, please.Next year I will be going to sixth form and I have to do 3 subjects of my choice. I really want to do English Literature as I really enjoy it and think I'm currently doing quite well in it. So that means I still have 2 other subjects to pick from and I don't which ones I should do. I wanted to do Sociology as I think it would've suited me and my future aims, but unfortunately the sixth form I will be attending doesn't include Sociology:frown:. Although I didn't do religious studies as a gcse, now I'm kind of thinking I should do it as a level as it'd be quite relevant and I think I'd find it interesting. Anyway, I am really stuck. What subjects should I do for a level? And also what's the name of this certain job? Help would be much appreciated, thanks!
I've moved this to the careers sector.
What options are you given?
I don't know the name of the job you're referring to (sorry!) but you don't have to dismiss Sociology because it's not offered at your school. Are there other sixth forms nearby that offer Sociology? Don't know about other schools but at my school sixth form, we have a few 'travellers' from our school who sit one subject at another sixth form and sit the remainder here. Likewise, we have people from other sixth forms here who have chosen a subject that we offer but their school doesn't. So maybe you could do the same sort of thing? If you're against that idea, then Religious Studies is a suitable alternative if you're willing to put the work in and get a decent grade. As for your third subject...a BTEC like Health and Social may be suitable. That's if you're looking to specialise in social work. Otherwise I don't know.

Yes there are other sixth forms in my area I know include Sociology, but I'm quite certain I'd like to go to this Sixth Form as it's closer and has a good environment. Some subjects involves going to other schools/colleges to study it, such as agriculture and Photography, but unfortunately I don't believe Sociology does. Thank for that suggestion though, I will be sure to ask! I was told today actually that Health and Social actually would be suitable, so I'm glad you've also suggested it. Today I got to speak to a career's advisor so that helped very much. She suggested me to do either Religious Studies, Health and Social care or drama (as I'm taking it as a gcse) along with English lit. Also after describing to her what sort of career I'd like to take on, she eventually got the jist of what I had in mind and basically the job I am referring to is something like a youth/social worker! So you pretty much got it spot on!😂 Thank you, much obliged.
