firstly- there is no chance Brits would learn fluent German in 75 years.
secondly- assumption that if it wouldn't be for Churchill (who, btw, sucked totally as a PM- he was lucky the war was on so he could pay less attention to the domestic, non-war related issues) than Britain would have lost the first phase of ware (i.e. after running away from Dunkirk).
If anything, we should be grateful to Americans and, mostly, to the Soviets for winning that war (nevermind Soviets started it together with Germany in September '39).

You are wrong.

America couldn't and wouldn't have invaded Europe if Britain had become a Nazi vassal state.

The whole continent would have been at Hitler and Stalin's mercy. They could have fought it out between themselves, or divided it up. Both were as bad the other, both totalitarian dictatorships so either outcome, a final victory for one or a peace between them would have been equally catastrophic.

No Churchill, no freedom in Europe now, it is that simple. Fish around in your pocket and see if you can find a fiver. There's a reason his picture is on the back of it.
