Sketching linear graphs

I know how to sketch graphs with x but how do you sketch graphs such as 8y + 24?

The question is solve the inequality 5(y+5) < 7-3(y+2)
which simplifies to 8y + 24 <0

I know you can just rearrange to get the answer but I want to know how to sketch the graph

So you want to know how to sketch x=8y+24, if you're having having difficulty just rearrange for y and just sketch as you normally would.

They seem to be different things though

And the graph of x = 8y + 24 is incorrect for working out the inequality
