1) Speed = Distance/Time

Time = Distance/Speed
Time from C to D = 32miles/64mph = 0.5h
Time arrived at D = 9h + 0.5h = 9.5h or 9:30

Time left to travel from D to B = 15m or 0.25h
Speed = Distance/Time
Speed needed from D to B = 21/0.25 = 84mph

2)
Find the volume of the pool (its a trapezium-based prism, so multiply the area of the prism face (1/2 x (a +b) x h) by the length.
Vol of Pool = 1/2 x (6.9 + 3.1)m x 30m x 10m = 1500m^3

Divide the volume by the rate of water transport
1500 / 25 = 60 minutes

i think
