Maths Trig Identities

I literally cannot do this, I've tried all I can think of, someone please help...

Prove the identity:

(cosx/1-tanx) + (sinx/1-cotx) = sinx +cosx


I simplify the LHS but get stuck and I can't work backwards from RHS....

Hi,

So first, you convert everything in terms of cos and sin.

Then, you can solve from there by spotting the difference in 2 squares and eventually cancels out with the denominator to give you the answer.
