I saw that for ideology questions, on the spec it says introductions are desirable. So I'd play it safe and include an intro

Really it depends on what they ask. However, from my mock experience I'd use the following:

To what extend is one of the ideologies committed to a specific idea

(no intro, its only 24 Marks)
How thinkers have agreed with the statement or idea
How thinkers have disagreed with the statement or idea
x2
Evaluation/judgement/conclusion.

I would do a similar structure if it were on a question about the extent to which an ideology disagrees with something and it doesn't define the sides perhaps with a small introduction if i have the time.
I suppose my main point is don't overthink it, remember the thinkers and keep to a simple structure.

Good luck!

I think it’s going to be either socialism or conservatism, but anything can come up so revise everything.

Conservatism wasn't in the SAMs so its a big possibility

I haven't got a textbook but my school does. It wasn't useful for ideologies tbh lacks the detail needed. For unit 2 ideologies they are calm tho. Do you have the Edexcel politics textbook, the thiqq one?

Political parties? You can suggest that Theresa mays resignation was due to the overwhelming division within the party due to Brexit. There was no consensus in regards to her Brexit policies. As a result, this led to her downfall and so unsuccessful

Parliament? Pm + exec? Relations between institutions? Parliament has final say on Brexit policies, decline in elective dictatorship / executive domination. Parliament is sovereign , parliament controlling govt, pm limited by parliament

Democracy? representative democracy, MPs rejecting her deals - 3 times MPs rejected it

Think about it topic by topic, see if you can find any examples! Hope it helped

will they talk about the resignation? I swear the paper's already been written... unless we have to use it for A02 anyways

I assume liberalism would be likely it’s a good balancing question for us, given the changes to the source question instructions they might expect people to lose marks over and so would want a reasonable balance for the paper
