I'm Alla and lowkey terrified for this year's Paper 2 because last year's one was so perfect 😭 Parliament is my absolute fave and I could've destroyed either the select committees or the HoL + HoC questions but it is what it is. I think that sovereignty and EU might come up this year (even though devolution which is kinda similar but not really) came up 2 years ago (I think?) and maybe a specific PM focused question about executive dominance or cabinet government. Those are my predictions but if I was to hope for a topic to come up it would obviously be the constitution and whether it should be reformed or parliament againn

constitution could come up again- i doubt it will be a codified/uncodified one specifically like last year.. could be something like eval the view that constitutional reforms since 1997 (or even 2010) have gone far enough

What were last years questions?

Last one was 'Evaluate the view that select committees are the most effective way for the House of Commons to hold the Executive to account.'

I think these topics are likely to come up this year:

constitutional reforms since 1997

devolution to England

parliament again but maybe backbenchers

or a european union focused question

Reply 10

for sure a question could come up that has laready come up cause the pressure group question from paper 1 today was reworded but was a past paper question. Referedums came up again and they came up last year. At this rate you cannot rule out a lot

maybe it could be something like whether leaving the EU has undermined UK sovereignty
