And what is the interval between the notes?
aahhh were the singers altos?
i could tell if they were guys or girls for aaages
i put alto
and then changed it to mezzo-soprano
how was that a 2 mark question?

there have been at least 5 questions i've heard of that i did have right but then changed to something else

I think I did 'quiet' then 'loud' then 'accented' with the italian symbols....

but accented isn't really describing the dynamics is it?

cos like you can have an accented quiet note or an accented loud note
crrrrrash
but isn't pedal all the same note?
Exactly what I thought. I wrote because of a lack of things to say. It certainly wasn't ground bass, since it was just a repeat. It just struck me as a pedal (for some reason). My music teacher does know his stuff. In fact, we didn't even ask him about that answer he just said 'the device was a pedal', by the way (sort of out of the blue).

Surely the singer was a counter-tenor?

What did you put crrashh instead of pedal?

I am guessing it's alto...could of been soprano.?
Reply 128
ok I'll give my take on the questions -
i put 92 bpm
i put imitation for the singers
i said word setting was melissma to add expression
and dynamics i said piano to mezzo forte to forte
Reply 129
It was a fifth, it was the twinkle twinkle interval =D
Reply 130
ARGH 5th? I put 3rd :s-smilie:

No the voice wasn't tenor low was it :s-smilie:? ARGH
Reply 131
singer i said soprano - it went quite high a one point and interval i said 3rd
Reply 132
OH is that what they meant by setting!? Meaning of the word...?

I said the word setting is the first word sung by the second vocalist... a load of garbage
Reply 133
Ooo i said 3rd! Hmm i don't know how high it went :s-smilie:... it was difficult...either a low soprano or a high alto!
Reply 134
i noticed for that who is singing question that there was 2 marks so they were probably looking for 2 things which is why i wrote soprano (female) - hopefully i'll get the female mark...twas a female right lol?
Reply 135
I think it was a fifth

Oops I totally forgot about mezzo soprano :P I think alto would get a mark though.
Reply 136
i think 3rd is right - i hummed it several times and everyone looked around lol
i reckon singer is alto even though i put soprano
Reply 137
I said piano to crescendo to forte :s-smilie:?

Doesn't it go without saying that sopranos are all female?

sometimes they give a mark for 2 different responses on the choose and option one - they did in one of our practice papers - so I'm just hoping soprano will be allowed
