My second is performed by my first, and, it is thought, a thief by the marks of my whole might be caught. What am I?

Easy one.

What, if broken, is immediately set and harder to break again?
Reply 403
It's a footprint.

Well, there's conclusive proof I wasn't cheating :p: I'm sure a foot makes a print as validly as it makes a step, and you're more likely to be caught (especially with the theif connotations) by a footprint than a footstep, right?

nope, not using a riddle page. Just riddles my family have told me

There're loads I've heard on that page, it's awesome! Including the one I mentioned, and a few of my favourites. They don't have one I can't remember about bearers helping a guy carry water over the desert. That was good.
gah I know that one, I've heard it a lot before
first I thought trust but I *think* its a record?
Read my riddle, I pray. What God never sees, what the king seldom sees, and what we see every day. What is it?

I stumped you all

one that you have to think of, but pretty easy :p:

1. There are 5 houses in five different colors.
2. In each house lives a person with a different nationality.
3. These five owners drink a certain drink, smoke a certain band of cigar and keep a certain pet.
4. no owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigar nor drink the same drink.

The Dane drinks tea.
The green house is on the left of the white house.
The green house owner drinks coffee.
The person who smokes Paul Mall rears birds.

The man living in the house right in centre drinks milk.
The Norwegian lives in the first house.
The man who smokes blends lives next to the one who keeps cats.
The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
The owner who smokes Bluemaster drinks beer.
The German smokes Prince.
The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
