Why do people hate the Combined STEM degree so much?

I see a lot of hate towards the Combined STEM degrees and I've always wondered why...

What are the pros and cons of this degree? Why is it so hated?
Not too sure myself but it seems to be a bit vague in order for it to be applicable to a specific job.
Ive never seen any hate for this before. In fact ive never heard of this degree before. Although a quick google shows 1 course at the open uni.

Now first off combined honours STEM degrees: natural sciences, maths & physics, maths & economics.... Generally i think these degrees are held in pretty good stead but its clear what they are.

Combined STEM, id say on the face of it is if it touches the sides of a lot of things you probably get a very broad knowledge of science & maths but it seems far too broad to have any real depth. I cant imagine you get satisfactory depth in any field as to operate their in a professional sense. Id imagine no one in a field accepts it as all you have is surface level content in several fields.

I can't say I've encountered hatred or even dislike of combined stem degrees
