how the heck is the answer what they got?? where did they even get the 3 in the term 6x3cos(30)x2 ??? shouldn't it just be 6cos(30)x2?? and so you should get 18((1+sqrt3)/6+pi) as the answer???
That wire section is mass 6 with a com on the x axis of 3cos(30), then there are two of them so *2.

oh.. so the 3cos(30) is the midpoint of OA and OB(on x axis)?

Yes, youre summing moments so mass*com (well weight but ...)
