CIE (Cambridge Board) IGCSE Remark - Scores will NEVER decrease?

Dear all,

Just to confirm, for CIE IGCSE exams, is it true that if a review of marking is requested and the new score comes out to be lower, you get to keep your old, higher grade? Many thanks!

Note for people using other exam boards: I think this only applies to CIE/Cambridge?

Late, but not quite.

The marks can increase or decrease, but the final grade will never go down- it will only stay the same or go up.

I'm not sure - check with your school.

Can anyone confirm? CIE says this is the case for iGCSE but I’m worried about the risk .
