if something has a high boiling point does it have a high melting point a level?

if something has a high boiling point does it have a high melting point A-level? My textbook just says for example the trend in x is the boiling point increases but doesn't mention the melting point yet it says I need to know the melting point trend.

Well, yes. Any material would melt before it can boil. Generally speaking, melting point will always be lower than boiling point. If something has a high boiling point, then chances are it would require higher temperatures to melt too. Both of those things are dependant on the structure/bonds of the material at hand. I think they both work hand in hand, but I am a GCSE student so I'd get a second opinion.
