Can any UAL students give me advice on applying?

So I'm doing a one-year foundation fashion course at college from September and wish to apply for UAL when I finish. I'm just looking for any helpful tips or advice from students that applied to UAL and were accepted - I got A*AA at A-Level (English Literature, Sociology and Psychology), mostly As and Bs at GCSEs although I know that most universities don't really look at GCSE grades. I want to apply for the Fashion Journalism course, so I'll be completing my own portfolio to apply. I would say I'm a confident writer, as I've been writing academically and creatively for around eight years. I have written my own articles on fashion and music mostly. To any current or past UAL students, how did you prepare for applying to a course there? What was your portfolio like? If you had one, how did your interview go? What kind of questions do they ask you? Any advice or tips would be very helpful, thanks! :smile:
