Kingston Uni UG Open Day!

Interested to come to Kingston University? Why not have a taste of what Uni life is like at one of our open days happening on the 14th of June!
Here are some tips on what to expect and questions to ask to make the most out of your visit!

Ask Questions
Open day is the perfect opportunity to get a feel of the campus, check out the facilities, speak to the lecturers and technicians! While you are at it, join a general campus tour to familiarise yourself with the different facilities and studios. If you are interested in a particular technique or medium such as metal working or 3D printing, feel free to ask the technicians the different possibilities you can achieve here at Kingston!
If you have any doubts and would like a better picture of what uni life would be like, speak to our current student ambassadors from a relevant course, they will be more than happy to share their experience with you. Are you planning to stay in student accommodation? Are there any clubs or societies you are interested in? :colondollar:

Visit Townhouse
Aside from visiting the relevant campuses, don’t forget to visit the Townhouse library by Penrhyn Road! A key feature to uni life here at Kingston, the Townhouse library is not just a place to study but also a communal space where students can hang out, eat and enjoy the view! :h:

Do you have questions regarding student finances or are curious about student accommodation? Speak to the student finances and accommodations team! There are usually booths from student finances, accommodations and our careers services and employability team at Townhouse where you can clarify any questions you may have regarding payment methods or processes.

Explore Kingston
If you are in between talks or have some spare time, I would highly recommend exploring the Kingston town centre! Places like the Bentall Centre and Ancient Old Market place are worth a visit to see the variety of food and shopping options around the area. :tongue:
