Can I retake A Levels more than once?

Is it possible to resit an A Level more than once. Can someone resit an A Level again (second resit, third time doing exam) next year? Is there a limit to how many times you can resit an A Level? Will it always be equivalent to doing it the first time?

there's absolutely no limit, however be careful where exactly you apply to for uni, as some may request an explanation as to why your resitting multiple times, but there's no limit as long as you can afford it
