Hi I changed my a levels from maths, physics and History to English lit, lang and History because I wasnt enjoying them. I am retaking history eventhough I got good grades, just because Im in college for an extra year and I thought I wasnt prepared to take it that year. Will this mean that unis will see my application as a retake? I have heard that unis dont like students retaking so I was a bit concerned Thank you in advance
a retake is a public exam you've taken more than once
did you retake the actual A level history exam, or just the year of teaching?
retakes are not generally a problem for university applications
I didn't redo the exam, I just did the year of teaching again. Thanks for the advice. I was just wondering how I would explain to universities that I decided to redo a year of teaching? I dont want to come across as incompetent.
