GCSE results for Oxford

How important are GCSES at Oxford. I got 988877766 and I’m a bit worried this will prevent me from being a successful applicant.

The general guidance is that you should have a good proportion of grade 8/9s, but it varies by subject and college tutor preferences. GCSEs are only one part of the application, alongside predicted A'level grades, admission tests if applicable to your course, personal statement, teachers references etc. GCSEs grades have a lower importance than predicted A'levels. Your grades look fine unless the 6s are in the subject you would be applying for.
i will assume that a person can't rescore your GCSE results

i would submit the best Oxford application that i can
