Firstly, as an LLB student you will have no need to do GDL. May I ask if you would like to qualify as a barrister or as a solicitor?

The 'best' (or certainly cheapest) thing to do is to apply to train with a law firm so that they will pay for the courses you need to take to be able to qualify. Do note that places are incredibly competitive however.
